No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.
He told them, “Because you have so little faith. I can guarantee this truth: If your faith is the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out. His merciful love couldn’t have dried up. We were not completely wiped out. His compassion is never limited.
1 Corinthians 13:4 – 7
Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn’t jealous. It doesn’t sing its own praises. It isn’t arrogant. 5 It isn’t rude. It doesn’t think about itself. It isn’t irritable. It doesn’t keep track of wrongs. 6 It isn’t happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth. Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
He who despises the word will be destroyed. But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.
